3 things to take note when fighting critical illness:
1. Ask for a written patient document from your doctor. It probably cost you $50-100, really peanuts to the total medical bills. Purpose of it is that you can use it to get more information from the internet. Remember, Google and Wikipedia are always on your side. It also reminds your doctor to take you more seriously.
2. Seek for a second opinion from other experts.
3. If condition permits, sign up for trials, they are unlikely to be worse than the existing treatments and are generally safe unless you really have no clue what you doing, and they cost close to nothing.
This concludes my first blogger blog. Hope I will not need to look at it again.
