Stiff muscles and the resulting pain along my spine have troubled me for quite a long time. The symptom first started to appear right after my Hong Kong trip for Prince Wales customer training (which was 2008 I guess?). The pain was so unbearable that I had to visit a massage parlor for the first time in my life. I thought it was gone after half a year’s intense treatment. I was wrong.
It must be the heavy load from MBA study that caused it to come back, and this time it is even worse than before. I generally don’t trust the massage here in Singapore, which left me with no other choice but to go for my own “active treatments” — exercises. Fortunately, I still remember the masseur in Beijing told me that “bei fei” is the best way to cure back problems. I gave it a shot yesterday. Despite the sweating (due to the hot and humid weather), it was quite effective!
